Huaxin Packaging Party Committee Holds a Symposium on Sharing Findings from the “Stay True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind” Thematic Education Research

　　On August 9, the Party Committee of Huaxin Packaging convened a symposium to share the findings of its research conducted as part of the “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind” thematic education campaign. The meeting was chaired by Ren Xiaoping, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Huaxin Packaging, during which members of the company’s leadership team presented their respective research findings. The First Touring Guidance Group for the Thematic Education Campaign of China Paper Industry attended the meeting to provide guidance.

　　Since the launch of the thematic education campaign on “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind,” the Party Committee of the company has, in strict accordance with the work arrangements of the Party Committees of China Chengtong and China Paper, treated this campaign as the top political task at present, giving it a more prominent position. The Committee has upheld leadership by example and ensured that responsibilities are firmly assigned and implemented. Members of the company’s leading team, in light of their respective areas of responsibility and the company’s key priorities, have adopted a problem-oriented approach, focusing on the most salient, difficult, and bottleneck issues hindering the enterprise’s development—as well as the pressing concerns and focal points raised by employees—that were identified during the course of the campaign. To gain a clear understanding of the actual situation, pinpoint problems, analyze their root causes, and formulate targeted measures, they have employed a variety of methods, including on-site inspections, symposiums and exchanges, individual interviews, listening to briefings, and reviewing relevant documents.

　　The meeting noted that the Party Committee of Huabao has advanced the thematic education campaign with prominent priorities, diverse approaches, and relatively significant results. Moving forward, it is essential to follow General Secretary Xi Jinping’s requirements on “four comparisons” and “four self-examinations,” while taking into account the rectification measures implemented in response to issues raised at last year’s democratic life meetings, so as to earnestly conduct the special democratic life meetings for thematic education.

　　In his concluding remarks, Ren Xiaoping pointed out that all members of the leading team had made thorough preparations for this research tour, focusing on salient problems and grounding their work in actual conditions. As a result, the issues identified were accurately pinpointed and the proposed measures were highly targeted, demonstrating initial success in the thematic education campaign. He then put forward several requirements for the next phase of work: First, further refine the research reports by carefully sorting and categorizing the findings, conducting item-by-item analysis and study, and using these findings as a crucial basis for formulating policies and work measures and as an effective means of addressing problems. Second, ensure rigorous implementation of corrective actions by drawing up specific remedial measures, incorporating them into a rectification checklist, setting clear deadlines, and assigning responsibility for each measure, so as to guarantee that corrections are effectively carried out and that employees can tangibly feel the benefits of the research. Third, in conjunction with the key Party-building tasks for the second half of the year, leverage Party leadership to coordinate and integrate the work of the trade union and the CYLC, and, on the basis of individual Party branches, launch initiatives such as “Party Member Vanguard Teams” and “Problem-Solving Task Forces” to highlight Party members’ identities, fully bring their exemplary and leading role into play, and strengthen the cohesion of Party organizations.
