Upholding Party Discipline and Strengthening Disciplinary Development — Huaxin Packaging Holds a Special Study Lecture on Anti-Corruption and Promoting Integrity

　　In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, further enhance the awareness of integrity and self-discipline among Party members and cadres, strengthen their ability to resist corruption and prevent degeneration, and build a clean and upright enterprise, in accordance with the overall plan of China Paper Corporation for the “Month of Publicity and Education on Anti-Corruption and Promoting Integrity,” the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Huaxin Packaging organized a special study lecture on anti-corruption and integrity titled “Strictly Observe Party Discipline and Strengthen Disciplinary Construction” at Zhuhai Hongta Renheng Packaging Co., Ltd. on April 27. A total of 121 participants, including mid- and high-level managers, Communist Party members, prospective Party members, and key personnel from subsidiaries across the Huaxin Packaging system, attended the lecture.

　　This special lecture has invited Professor He Liangsu from the Party School of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China to deliver a keynote address. He elaborated on three main aspects: “the profound significance of strictly upholding Party discipline,” “the historical evolution of Party disciplinary development,” and “the practical requirements for strengthening disciplinary development.”

　　During the lecture, Professor He employed a rich combination of text and visuals, drawing extensively on classical sources and historical precedents to provide a thorough yet accessible explanation of the profound significance of strictly upholding Party discipline and the evolution of Party disciplinary development. Through well-grounded theoretical analysis and concrete historical examples, he demonstrated that strict discipline is of paramount importance to the interests of the Party, the nation, and the people. Professor He also conducted a penetrating examination of the current situation and tasks in combating corruption and promoting integrity, summarizing the profound changes in the global context, national conditions, and the Party’s circumstances. Drawing on real-world cases, he elaborated on how, amid the persistent prevalence of corruption and the still-grim challenges facing efforts to strengthen Party conduct and combat corruption, we can adopt more scientific and effective measures to prevent corruption. He urged Party members and leading cadres to maintain personal integrity and self-discipline, to conscientiously implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on strengthening Party conduct and fighting corruption, to steadfastly uphold the Party’s fundamental purpose, to place discipline and rules at the forefront, and to truly embody firm convictions, practicality, integrity, and a commitment to serving the people, while daring to assume responsibility and continuously enhancing their political resolve, disciplinary rigor, and resistance to corruption.

　　This lecture has strengthened the awareness of Party members and cadres regarding the importance of their respective duties, provided them with a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the laws, regulations, and related knowledge on combating corruption and promoting integrity, and played a positive role in enhancing their personal qualities and ideological awareness, thereby effectively elevating the level of anti-corruption and integrity-building at Huaxin Packaging. It has also ensured that every Party member, cadre, and personnel in key positions is fully aware of their responsibilities and obligations, cultivates a proper professional image, and cherishes the trust and heavy responsibilities entrusted to them by the organization.
