Hongta Renheng Successfully Hosts the First Training Session of the South China Regional Discipline Inspection Collaboration Group and the Regional Case-handling Center

2023/08/31

To better meet the requirements of disciplinary inspection work in the new era and to continuously strengthen regional collaboration and the development of the disciplinary inspection workforce, the first training session of the South China Regional Disciplinary Inspection Collaboration Group and the Regional Case-handling Center was successfully held from September 19 to 20 at Zhuhai Hongta Renheng Packaging Co., Ltd. The training was guided by the Discipline Inspection Commissions of China Chengtong and China Paper, and was attended by representatives from the 14 member units of the disciplinary inspection collaboration group.

This training session invited instructors from the Party School of the Zhuhai Municipal Committee, the Inspection Office of the Zhuhai Municipal Committee, and the Third Supervision Division of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Jinwan District of Zhuhai to deliver lectures. The curriculum covered topics such as “Comprehensive and Strict Governance of the Party Is an Ongoing Process—Consolidating and Expanding the Overwhelming Victory in the Fight Against Corruption,” “Accurately Identifying Problems to Enhance the Quality of Inspections,” and “Risks and Prevention of Official Crimes in State-Owned Enterprises.” Through a combination of theoretical exposition, case studies, and personal reflections, the instructors provided insightful interpretations and shared practical insights on fundamental knowledge of disciplinary inspection, operational procedures, and risk prevention, all grounded in real-world work experience.

On the morning of September 20, the regional discipline inspection collaboration group convened a symposium. Attending the meeting were Zhang Xianghong, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of China Chengtong; Zhang Zhibing, Director of the Comprehensive Review Division of the Commission for Discipline Inspection; Ren Xiaoming, Deputy Director of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office of China Paper Industry, along with other leaders. During the symposium, representatives from various units actively shared their insights, providing overviews of their respective enterprises’ discipline inspection work and sharing valuable experience. They also exchanged views and learned from one another by discussing the challenges they had encountered in their daily work. In addition, the meeting included discussions on such topics as “how to effectively oversee the implementation of decisions and arrangements made by higher-level authorities” and “how to carry out grassroots discipline inspection work more effectively and strengthen the functions of the regional discipline inspection collaboration group and the regional case-handling center.”

During the symposium, Zhang Xianghong highly commended the training and expressed earnest expectations for the development of the Discipline Inspection Collaboration Group and the Regional Case-handling Center. He also set forth the following requirements for the next phase of work: First, all enterprises in the region should clearly define their respective roles, conduct extensive and in-depth exchanges of business practices, promote complementary strengths, and effectively strengthen and enhance the South China Regional Collaboration Group and the Regional Case-handling Center; second, each member unit should, in light of its own specific circumstances, explore a number of feasible and implementable initiatives, so as to jointly deliver tangible results in the work of the Collaboration Group and the Case-handling Center; and third, taking this training as a starting point, boldly innovate the approaches for advancing work within the region, proactively offer ideas and suggestions, and thereby drive continuous improvement in the quality of discipline inspection work across the region.

Trainees unanimously stated that the training was highly focused, rich in content, and highly targeted; it deepened their understanding of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on exercising full and rigorous self-governance; strengthened coordination and exchange among the member units of the South China Regional Discipline Inspection Collaboration Group; met the practical needs of current discipline inspection work; and explored ways to better carry out discipline inspection work under the new circumstances, thereby injecting new momentum into the next phase of our work.

Following the meeting, Huang Xin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Paper, along with Ji Shumming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, accompanied Zhang Xianghong on a field inspection and research visit to the production and laminating workshops of Zhuhai Huafeng Paper. During the visit, they conducted an in-depth review of the plant’s work safety, quality management, and operational procedures. Zhang Xianghong commended Zhuhai Huafeng’s production and business operations, encouraging the company to continue its efforts, leverage its existing resource advantages, accelerate structural adjustments, and promote high-quality development.
