January-April 2017 China's coatings industry total output of 5.9615 million tons

From January to April 2017, the total output of China's coatings industry was 5.9615 million tons, an increase of only 2.6 percent over the same period last year, and the growth rate was significantly lower than the recent development trend of the industry.

Among them, the top five provinces and cities in terms of output are Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Sichuan and Hunan, with output of 1.247 million tons, 743000 tons, 672000 tons, 432000 tons and 388000 tons respectively, with year-on-year growth rates of 14.4, 7.6, 18%, -4.7 and 3.1 respectively. Guangdong's coating output continues to grow strongly at a high level, showing that although the heat of the real estate industry in the early stage has declined, however, due to the cyclical impact of construction, the market demand for architectural coatings is still at its peak.
