China Paper Industry Holds Cadre Conference

On the morning of September 1, China Paper held a meeting for its cadre corps. Zhang Min, Head of the Organization Department of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Human Resources Department of Chengtong Group, announced the appointment and removal documents. Comrade Tong Laiming is no longer to serve as Chairman, Legal Representative, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China Paper; Comrade Huang Xin has been appointed as Chairman, Legal Representative, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China Paper.

At the meeting, Xiang Hong, Vice President of Chengtong Group, conveyed three expectations to the leadership team of China Paper Industry on behalf of the Group: First, strengthen accountability and commitment, vigorously advance enterprise reform, and strive to put the development of the paper industry on a healthy and sustainable track; second, foster teamwork and fully leverage the strengths of the team—leadership should pool their collective wisdom and work in unison to effectively resolve all types of conflicts; and third, enhance quality and efficiency, make every effort to achieve the annual business performance targets, and further reduce costs while increasing efficiency, thereby making an even greater contribution to the development of Chengtong Group.

Comrade Huang Xin stated that he will live up to the trust and expectations of the leadership and colleagues, continue to learn tirelessly, and strive to lead China Paper in making even greater contributions to the development of Chengtong Group.

Comrade Tong Laiming delivered a speech at the meeting, in which he reflected on his 11-year journey of working alongside the leadership team of China Paper, using the five words “congratulations,” “gratitude,” “regret,” “expectations,” and “best wishes.” He expressed his hope that China Paper will continue to write an even brighter future on its path ahead.

The meeting was chaired by Hong Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee of China Paper Industry. Members of the company’s leadership team and heads of all departments attended the meeting.
