Ji Shuming Visits Hunan Platform to Inspect the Implementation of Thematic Education and Conduct Research

From September 5 to 6, Ji Shumming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of China Paper Industry, visited the Hunan platform to inspect the implementation of the “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind” thematic education campaign and to conduct a field survey. Relevant enterprise leaders, including Ye Meng, Li Zhan, Yuan Guoli, Xie Xianlong, and Qin Jiamai, attended the survey. Ji Shumming listened to briefings from each company under the Hunan platform on the organization and implementation of the thematic education, Party building work, and production and business operations. He then went on-site to the cultural paper division workshop of the Yueyang Branch of Yueyang Forest Paper, the planting area of Maoyuan Forestry, as well as the production workshops of Shuangyang High-Tech and Juntai Technology, where he gained a detailed understanding of the situation and extended condolences to the on-site cadres and employees.

Ji Shuming fully commended the Hunan Platform’s efforts in carrying out thematic education, advancing Party building, and promoting production, operations, and reform and development. He urged Party organizations at all levels on the Hunan Platform to further refine the division of responsibilities, strengthen supervision and guidance, and rigorously and conscientiously implement the rectification and follow-up actions arising from the problem-identification phase of the thematic education, so as to ensure that the initiative yields substantial results. Moreover, he emphasized the need to vigorously institutionalize and normalize thematic education, leveraging its institutionalization to deepen the integration of Party building with production and operations, thereby driving the enterprise toward high-quality development.

During the exchange on research findings, Ji Shumming stated: Taigelin Paper and Yueyang Lin Paper must both focus on “doing the job well” and “choosing the right path.” They should increase investment in forward-looking, systematic, and institutional issues that are critical to the sustainable development of the enterprise, and continuously refine their capabilities. It is essential to strengthen both the awareness of and the ability to engage in strategic struggle, and to accelerate the resolution of persistent pain points and challenges—such as low efficiency in asset revitalization, slow progress in cultivating new business models, and numerous legacy issues—that hinder corporate development, thereby laying a solid foundation for achieving high-quality growth. JunTai Technology should continue to adhere to the “four-character mantra” of “prioritize, adjust, strengthen, and stabilize,” enhancing the pioneering spirit and predictive capacity of its management, adjusting and optimizing its product, business, customer, and asset structures, reinforcing ideological guidance, team building, and institutional development, maintaining a stable mindset, bolstering confidence in development, and resolutely overcoming developmental obstacles. Shuangyang High-Tech should aim for high quality and sustainability, focusing on scaling up operations, expanding market reach, innovating in management practices, and accelerating the advancement of key projects based on rigorous scientific analysis and thorough feasibility studies, so as to continuously enhance its market share and public reputation.

Ji Shuming emphasized that, with the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day—the “double holidays”—fast approaching, Party committees and discipline inspection commissions at all levels of the Hunan platform must earnestly fulfill their duties and responsibilities; Party members and cadres at all levels must set an exemplary standard by continuously strengthening discipline and work style, thereby ensuring a clean and upright internal environment. Enterprises at all levels must adopt a bottom-line mindset, enhance risk awareness, and make every effort to ensure safe production and social stability, with particular emphasis on early warning and prevention of imported risks to safeguard overall safety and stability.
