Following the Footsteps of the Martyrs and Revisiting the Road of Revolution-Hongta Renheng Launching Theme Party Day Activities

In order to study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, strengthen the patriotism education of Party members, carry forward the revolutionary tradition of the party, and enhance the confidence and determination of Party members and cadres in the company to start their own businesses. On July 6, the Hongta Renheng Party Committee organized a party day activity with the theme of "stick to the original heart, forge ahead and achieve high-quality development of Hongren. Zhang Hong, deputy secretary of Hongta Renheng Party Committee, led 80 party members, development targets and activists of the company to participate in this theme party day activity.

After driving for three hours, all party members arrived at the first stop of the Red Education Base at 10 a.m.-the Dongjiang Column Memorial Hall in Luofu Mountain. The memorial hall is divided into four exhibition halls, the prologue hall, the exhibition hall, the heroic hall and the audiovisual. The exhibition hall lists a large number of historical documents, historical photos and revolutionary cultural relics, which comprehensively reflects the revolutionary deeds of the Dongjiang Column, the Guangdong-Guangzhou Column, Guangdong-Jiangxi and Hunan Column.

After eight years of Anti-Japanese War, the Dongjiang column was reorganized several times under extremely difficult conditions, and finally developed into an anti-Japanese armed force of more than 11000 people. In the exhibition hall of Dongjiang column memorial hall, there is a long list of martyrs, engraved with the names of 5508 martyrs. This is a very profound spiritual baptism for all party members, and it also allows everyone to further strengthen their belief in the party and realize that today's happy life is hard-won. It is the heroic dedication of the Chinese Communists from generation to generation that has brought about the present peaceful and prosperous age. As a Communist Party member, we should know how to cherish and take history as a mirror, not forget the revolutionary ancestors, inherit and carry forward the spirit of the East, and inherit the precious spiritual wealth left by history for us.

In front of the Dongjiang Column Memorial Hall, all party members, under the leadership of Comrade Zhang Hong, faced the party flag and the statue of the Dongjiang Column solemnly raised their right hand to review the party oath. Every word of the oath resounded forcefully through the memorial square. This is not only a promise to ourselves, but also a promise to the revolutionary ancestors. We will always "Do not forget your initiative mind, remember the mission" and do our duty for the party, contributing to society.

The second stop of the Red Education Base is Ye Ting's former residence, which is located in a remote and quiet small mountain village in QiuChang Town, Huiyang. This is the ancestral house of Comrade Ye Ting. Although it has been fighting for a hundred years, it is still intact. The former residence is a typical Hakka enclosed house. The layout and furnishings in the house remain the same. There are many things used by ordinary farmers in the kitchen and corridor. The wooden beds, wardrobes and desks in each bedroom have faded and yellowed with the passage of time. However, Comrade Ye Ting's growth footprints and heroic deeds will always live in the hearts of every Party member bright and stalwart.

On the other side of Ye Ting's former residence is an exhibition hall displaying pictures of General Ye Ting's life and deeds, which contains many precious historical photos and cultural relics. In the place where Comrade Ye Ting lived, looking at the shocking pictures and introductions made every party member deeply feel that the revolution and history are so close to us. Those historical relics are quietly hung on the wall, as a witness, revealing a sense of immortality. This priceless treasure, we will be passed on from generation to generation.

Through a one-day visit and study, all party members and development targets have learned a valuable lesson, which not only further understands the glorious course and great achievements of the revolutionary ancestors, but also greatly stimulates the sense of responsibility and mission of party members. Combined with the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the educational work conference on the theme of "never forget the original ideal and ambition and bear in mind the mission" on May 31, 2019, we will bear in mind history, always play a vanguard and exemplary role, work hard and overcome difficulties in work and life, turn the revolutionary spirit into the driving force of work, stick to the original heart, forge ahead, and achieve high-quality development of Hongren.
