Hongta Renheng Debuts Groundbreaking Innovative Food Packaging Paper at the 2019 Printing and Packaging Industry Economic Forum

　　On September 20–21, 2019, the industry’s most authoritative economic forum for the printing and packaging sector—the National Annual Conference of Printing Managers—was grandly held in Zhuhai, located in the world-class Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. On this occasion, Hongta Renheng made a prominent appearance with its groundbreaking plastic-free coated food cardboard and its industry-leading natural-color food packaging paper.

　　This annual conference was co-hosted by the China Printing Technology Association, the China Research Institute of Printing Science and Technology, and Keyin Media, with Keyin Media’s “Printing Manager” magazine serving as the organizer. More than 300 attendees, including leaders from the Printing and Distribution Bureau of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, industry association representatives, and elite delegates from the top 100 printing enterprises and other leading printing companies, gathered to closely monitor market developments, identify emerging trends, and explore in depth pathways for future business growth.

　　The paper cups used at the annual conference were manufactured from Hongta® 250 gsm plastic-free coated food-grade cardboard, marking the first public unveiling of this material to industry professionals nationwide. As a new addition to the Hongta family, the plastic-free coated food-grade cardboard has now entered successful mass production following four years of research and development.

　　This groundbreaking product challenges conventional thinking in both the food-packaging-paper industry and the broader consumer market by replacing PE lamination with a plastic-free coating, transforming dry waste into recyclable waste. By leveraging science-driven solutions, Hongta is putting eco-friendly principles into practice—mission accomplished! The debut of Hongta’s plastic-free paper cups completely reshaped attendees’ understanding of the raw material used for paper cups.
