10 Month 23 Day, The Hongta Renheng News and Publicity Correspondence Station held its first internal work conference in the eighth-floor conference room of the Qianshan Plant. Zhang Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Hongta Renheng, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting studied the spirit of the “Hongta Renheng News and Publicity Management Measures” and the document on “Establishing the Hongta Renheng News and Publicity Correspondence Workstation,” and conveyed and implemented the workstation’s positioning, work requirements, and responsibilities. During the meeting, correspondents from each center (department) introduced themselves and put forward suggestions and opinions on the work of the news and publicity correspondence station, engaging in exchanges and discussions.

Furthermore, regarding the workstation… The correspondent put forward three requirements: First, we must practice “three diligences”—“diligent penmanship, diligent thinking, and diligent legwork.” Diligent penmanship means regularly practicing writing—not only news reports, but also various other genres such as practical writing and essays. Diligent thinking involves studying outstanding works from other platforms, carefully observing the news reports and page layouts published in the China Paper Industry News, learning from their strengths while addressing our own weaknesses, and extracting the essence of their approaches. Diligent legwork means actively seeking out valuable news stories and identifying exemplary role models around us, using their examples to boost morale and motivate employees. Second, we must strengthen our sense of responsibility. As members of the news and publicity correspondent station, we should take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as our guiding principle, focus on the company’s central tasks, highlight key achievements, promote model figures, summarize successful experiences, and foster a positive atmosphere, thereby jointly advancing the orderly development of the news station. Third, we must intensify our learning and development, enhance our writing skills, and step up our publicity efforts, so as to create a favorable environment that encourages initiative, hard work, and entrepreneurship for the company’s high-quality development.

Finally, Zhang Hong put forward three recommendations for the development of the communications station: first, diversify the forms of news and publicity work to ensure “three close connections”—being closely aligned with reality, everyday life, and employees; second, uphold correct guidance to invigorate the work of correspondents, promptly address the challenges they encounter, and provide them with support and assistance; and third, enhance the writing skills of correspondents by organizing a variety of training programs that go beyond traditional classroom lectures and encourage correspondents to “go out into the field,” cultivating in them a keen awareness of and sensitivity to the realities of daily life.
