Zhu Bixin Meets with Li Zixue, Chairman of ZTE Corporation

On the afternoon of October 23, Zhu Bixin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, met with a delegation led by Li Zixue, Chairman of ZTE Corporation, at the Group’s headquarters. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening cooperation. Tong Laiming, Vice President of the Group, attended the meeting.

　　Zhu Bixin extended a warm welcome to Li Zixue and his delegation, and provided an overview of China Chengtong’s development journey as well as the progress made since the company was selected as a pilot state-owned capital operation firm. Zhu Bixin emphasized that ZTE Corporation, as a flagship of China’s indigenous industries, enjoys high-level attention and support from the state, excels in innovation within the high-tech sector, and has secured a number of foundational research patents and technologies. He stated that China Chengtong will leverage the strengths of a state-owned capital operation company to deepen bilateral exchanges and cooperation, thereby fostering mutually beneficial development.

　　Li Zixue stated that ZTE’s development has been inseparable from the support of the Chinese government and will increasingly rely on capital in its future growth. At present, all aspects of ZTE’s operations are running smoothly; going forward, the company will further optimize its business structure, continuously refine its market positioning, and strive to play a pivotal role in the 5G era. He also expressed the hope that ZTE will deepen cooperation and exchange with China Chengtong, working together to contribute to the development of China’s telecommunications industry.
