Li Hongfeng Meets with Qingdao Mayor Meng Fanli

On October 22, Group President Li Hongfeng met with a delegation led by Qingdao Mayor Meng Fanli at the Group’s headquarters. The two sides engaged in extensive exchanges on deepening cooperation in such areas as modern logistics, healthcare and wellness, and fund investment.

　　Li Hongfeng outlined the historical evolution of China Chengtong and its pivotal role in deepening the reform of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises. He noted that, since being designated as a pilot state capital operation company, China Chengtong has leveraged market-oriented operations and professional management to fully harness its capabilities in fund investment, equity management, and asset operation, thereby actively supporting state-owned enterprises in optimizing their industrial layout and restructuring. China Chengtong enjoys a solid foundation for cooperation with Qingdao and has keenly appreciated the city’s favorable investment environment and efficient government services. Moving forward, China Chengtong aims to further capitalize on its strengths and engage in in-depth, pragmatic collaboration with Qingdao across multiple sectors, including modern logistics, healthcare and wellness, the transformation of old and new growth drivers, and fund investment, so as to jointly promote Qingdao’s economic development.

　　Meng Fanli stated that in recent years, Qingdao has made significant efforts to improve its business environment and vigorously advanced the major initiative of transforming old growth drivers into new ones, thereby providing enterprises operating in Qingdao with higher-quality and more convenient government services. Qingdao and China Chengtong already enjoy a solid and extensive foundation of cooperation, and it is hoped that the two sides will, in the next phase, further explore cooperative opportunities, align their strategies, implement key projects, and fully leverage China Chengtong’s strengths in areas such as modern logistics, healthcare and wellness, and fund investment, so as to jointly promote Qingdao’s high-quality development.
