The Party Committee of the Group Held a Review and Analysis Meeting on the Follow-Up Implementation of Rectification Measures from the “Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind” Thematic Education Initiative

To consolidate and deepen the outcomes of the “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind” thematic education campaign, the Group Party Committee convened a review and analysis meeting on November 18 morning to assess the implementation of corrective measures and follow-up actions. The meeting was chaired and addressed by Zhu Bixin, Secretary of the Group Party Committee and Chairman of the Board. Wang Shimin, a member of the First Tour Supervisory Team for the Thematic Education Campaign under the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, attended the meeting to provide guidance. Members of the Group’s leadership team, senior assistants, and heads of selected functional departments at headquarters also took part.

Zhu Bixin led the group in a collective study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech during the 18th collective study session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, and conveyed the “Report on the Special Democratic Life Meetings on ‘Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind’ Held by the First Batch of Units Participating in the Thematic Education Campaign,” issued by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, and the Leading Group for the “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind” Thematic Education Campaign under the CPC Central Committee. The meeting also briefed on the progress of the “look-back” review of the implementation of corrective measures for the thematic education campaign undertaken by the Party Committee of the Group, and deliberated on the checklist of corrective measures, the report on the implementation of such measures, and the report on special rectification efforts. Members of the leading team conducted self-examination in light of the problems identified and the corrective measures formulated at the democratic life meetings held as part of the “Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind” thematic education campaign, taking into account their respective areas of responsibility and personal circumstances, and provided self-assessments of the effectiveness of the corrective actions.

Zhu Bixin pointed out that the Party Committee of the Group has earnestly studied and thoroughly understood the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches, and in accordance with the requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission regarding the “look-back” review of the thematic education campaign, it has conducted a item-by-item review and rectification against the work plan for addressing and implementing corrective measures and the ledger for special rectification efforts. Through in-depth analysis and assessment, overall progress on all rectification tasks has been smooth and results have been significant, essentially achieving the expected objectives in consolidating and deepening the outcomes of the thematic education campaign.

Zhu Bixin emphasized that, in light of the requirements set forth by the CPC Central Committee and the Party Leadership Group of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, as well as the realities of deepening pilot reforms and pursuing high-quality development at the state capital operation company, the progress in implementing corrective measures arising from the group’s thematic education campaign remains insufficiently rapid. It is therefore necessary to continuously intensify efforts to ensure thorough implementation of these measures, so as to more rigorously and effectively consolidate and build upon the outcomes of the thematic education. To this end: first, we must persevere over the long term and sustain steady progress in implementing corrective actions stemming from the thematic education, with particular attention paid to incorporating newly identified problems into the oversight and rectification process, thereby ensuring that issues are promptly detected and addressed; second, we must improve institutional mechanisms and earnestly advance the translation of thematic education outcomes into practical results, seizing the significant opportunities presented by the campaign to transform its achievements into a powerful driving force for deepening pilot reforms; and third, all relevant parties must assume their respective responsibilities and make every possible effort to accomplish all annual work tasks, with special emphasis on meeting the group’s annual budget targets and enhancing the quality of state capital operations. At present, it is especially important to carry out solid publicity and implementation of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, to cooperate fully with the inspection conducted by the Party Leadership Group of the SASAC, and to promote the group’s reform pilot initiatives, so as to ensure that all related work proceeds in a vigorous yet orderly manner.
