[Environmental Protection] Good News: Green-Label Environmental Protection Integrity Enterprise and Emission Reduction Quota Allocation Project Have Been Publicized and Approved

According to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Environmental Protection’s public announcement of the 2017 corporate environmental credit evaluation results, Zhuhai Huafeng, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zhuhai Hongta, has been awarded the annual “Green Label” designation. The company has consistently upheld the environmentally friendly social responsibility expected of a central state-owned enterprise, adhering to a pollution-control approach that emphasizes “system-wide, end-to-end, and all-round management” as well as “strict prevention at the source, rigorous control throughout the process, and stringent final-stage management.” It implements comprehensive, high-standard environmental protection management across all operations, continuously increases its investment in environmental protection, and upgrades its environmental protection facilities to ensure compliance with standards and achieve ultra-low emissions for water, air, noise, solid waste, and radiation, thereby translating the ecological conservation philosophy of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” into concrete action.

In addition, the project to change the method of levying wastewater discharge fees for Zhuhai Hongta from being based on water consumption to being based on actual wastewater discharge volume has received approval from the relevant government authorities, which will significantly reduce the company’s wastewater discharge costs.
