Cooling Delights on the Summer Solstice: Sweet Herbal Tea Warms the Heart — A Report on the Hongta Renheng Union’s Herbal Tea Distribution

2023/08/31

On June 21, 2019, the summer solstice marked the official arrival of summer. Yet in Zhuhai, summer seems to have arrived even earlier: under the blazing sun, all our colleagues on the production floor and those working outdoors continue to persevere and give their best at their posts. To express our gratitude for their tireless efforts and hard work on behalf of the company, and to show greater care and concern for employees in these frontline and outdoor roles, the company’s trade union specially purchased cooling herbal tea to distribute to them.

A total of nine departments received cooling herbal tea as part of this distribution, benefiting 829 employees. The company’s trade union hopes that this initiative will bring a touch of refreshment to employees during the sweltering summer months; the sweet, soothing taste of the herbal tea is intended to warm their hearts and help them feel that the company is like a second home. In addition, company leaders urged all employees to take precautions against the heat, to schedule their work and rest periods in a scientific and reasonable manner, and to prioritize their health in the face of high temperatures.
