Visiting Huangpu and Reflecting on the Past: Studying the Revolutionary Spirit and Cherishing Patriotic Sentiment — The Seventh Party Branch of Hongta Renheng Holds a Themed Party Day Activity

Seventy Years of Prosperity and Glory , Never forget the glorious past. On November 30, all members of the Seventh Party Branch of Hongta Renheng, led by Party Branch Secretary Comrade Mi Huiliang, visited a location in Guangzhou. The site of the Whampoa Military Academy on Changzhou Island in Huangpu District has launched “Visiting the Whampoa Military Academy, Reflecting on the Past, Studying the Revolutionary Spirit, and Cherishing Patriotic Sentiment” themed Party Day activity.

The Whampoa Military Academy was founded by Dr. Sun Yat-sen with the vigorous support and assistance of the Communist Party of China and the Soviet Union; it was a product of the First United Front between the KMT and the CPC, with the overarching goal of using armed struggle to overthrow imperialist and feudal warlord rule in China and thereby bring about the National Revolution. The Academy adopted a teaching approach that placed equal emphasis on military and political education and integrated theory with practice: on the one hand, it vigorously promoted Sun Yat-sen’s Three Principles of the People; on the other, it introduced the ideas of Marxism-Leninism. In this way, it cultivated a large number of military and political leaders for the Chinese revolution. Throughout the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal struggles for national unification and ethnic independence, the faculty and students of Whampoa made outstanding contributions and achieved remarkable military successes, rendering an exceptional service to the Chinese revolutionary cause. During the visit, Party members repeatedly paused to reflect: to be an exemplary Communist Party member, we must take Premier Zhou Enlai as our role model, learning from his profound sense of devotion to both family and country, his selfless dedication to the nation and the people, and his spirit of tireless service; we must remain true to our original aspiration and steadfastly uphold our faith.

Through this themed Party Day activity, the members of the Seventh Party Branch have gained a deeper understanding of the Chinese people’s historic quest for national independence and liberation. At the same time, they are reminded to “drink water and remember the source” and to honor the martyrs, consistently upholding their role as exemplary Party members and setting an example, thereby contributing their share to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
